I received a recommendation for this product during a facial I received a few months ago. I was on a misson to find a product that would help with my chronic dry skin. I have tried so many products in the past and nothing was helping me, so I decided a facial may be the place to start.
My main concern for this appointment was that my dry skin was not allowing my moisturizer to absorb into the flaky patches on my face. I found that I would have to exfoliate several times a week to remove the dry skin so that I could apply foundation without the dryness being so obvious. It is very hard to hide dry skin. Trust me.
After my facial was complete the esthetician talked to me about my problem areas and made her product recommendations. She first introduced me to a line of products that was offered at the spa and she also recommended Josie Maran Argan Oil. I purchased both products that same day.
I was instructed to use this argan oil after I take off all my makeup because it had an oily consistency and was best used at night. I followed directions as indicated but decided to take it a step further. I actually use this argan oil as my moisturizer before I apply my foundation.
Sometimes I apply a drop or two in my foundation and combine before application. As stated above, my skin is very dry. If you are thinking my skin looks like an oil slick at the end of the day……It does not. This product is not oily, it absorbs perfectly into my skin. My foundation applies effortlessly and my skin looks smooth and hydrated.
Also, I have not had to exfoliate since I began using this product. If any of my complaints sound familiar to you give this a try. I buy the travel size which is 0.5 fl oz. It was $16.00 at Sephora. It does come in a larger size but the small size seems to last me for about two months when using it twice daily. I have purchased this product many times and love it.
